Hello, my friends call me Arcad. My disclaimer is that although I’m defending blue collar jobs, I myself have been working a white collar job for over a decade. I’m however educated on both perspectives because I used to work blue collar jobs for most of my early adult life. For example I’ve worked as an appliance repair-woman, a carpenter and a few other jobs. Now though I work as a consultant for various careers in white collar industries. The reason why I’m so passionate about this issue is because my father who worked for many years as a gas appliance technician was harassed and beaten up by a gang of young lawyers who thought he was pathetic and uneducated. He nearly lost his life. The bright side of it though is that that event sent me on this quest to help shift the perspective of blue collar jobs in our society. Thanks for understanding.
